Both my BP Preciousses and my Boa Luna ate F/T for the first time tonight! In the early days I tried Prec a few times but she refused to have anything to do with F/T. In fact the last time I tried about 4 months ago she grabbed it and drug it to her water bowl and dunked it, then retired to higher ground. Tonight she refused to strike it but followed the zombie dance for awhile then I had to let go. She went over and sniffed it and ate it without striking.
Makes me less stressed about injuries cuz the rats were way meaner than the mice. I can also order in advance so I'm not driving over an hour there for live. I suspect I will have to occasionally get live for Prec though.
Thank you for all the great advice to me and others I've followed that meant i defrosted and heated the rats correctly. The hair dryer really got their interest ahead of time and Luna, the Boa, snatched the rat straight away. The F/T was really important to me for her as I was really worried about bigger prey as she grows.
