Are the water treatments safe for bps? I mean the one that is supposed to slow the growth of bacteria, aid in good bacteria, and do other fun stuff. For some reason I cannot think of the brand I saw, but i think it had a picture of a turtle on it but said it was for reptiles in general. Is this safe, what about Hydrolyte?

Reptisafe. I have used it from day one and it sure hasn't hurt!
I think it has a lot to do w/ my adopted rescue case getting back on track. It suppose to help in rehydrating.
There was a thread about this like about 10 mos ago.
Some use it, some use distilled, others use good old tap.
If you have a lot of iron or well water or a lot of chlorine I would use it. Can't hurt.
