    Help! Ginger is loose
I don't know how if happened - her enclosure was shut when I went in to see her. But Ginger is loose in the house, and we're searching for her.

Any tips? I know about putting down flour to see if she goes through it and makes a trail.

    Thanks,
    Pamela

PS. She's 14 months, 40 inches in length

Look in nice dark and warm areas. Hope you find her.

When my snakes escape they are either behind the snake rack or on top of the rat rack, haha. She probably didn't wander that far. I've uh, misplaced snakes a total of three times (though I can totally argue that none of those were my fault ;]) and they never left the room. Close the door... if it's in a bedroom, look through dirty clothes, inside of shoes, etc. Dark, tight, and warm spaces. Look along the walls. Check your closet.

Look up! And warm and dark! In shoes, bags, in sofa ...

Maybe try setting up a hide with a heat lamp attached to it in the middle of the room.

Yes, we've searched her favorite places, and I agree that she most likely hasn't left her room. We found her stuck in the wire shelves of the closet next to her enclosure once before. We've searched up and down all over her room....,hopefully she turns up soon. I'm worried about my baby girl!!!!

This happened to me last week. I found mine in a drawer right next to her enclosure, in most cases they don't leave the room they are in. I would start in the room you keep her in, for they are just looking for somewhere to curl up.

    Good luck finding her :snake:

No sign of her anywhere. How long can she be gone before she dies? I'm assuming that snakes need water....?

Great idea! I just did it, plus a water bowl as well.

She's probably less than 6' from her enclosure.
