Any way to tell the age??
The store I bought my girl from said they did not know how old she was. I was wondering, is there anyway to tell the age of your bp?

Not for sure no, unless you know the breeder, who knows the hatch date. They all grow at different rates..

Take your pinky finger, and your thumb, and wrap it around your snake to make an O shape about the same size as the belly of your snake. Then take a coin and see which size coin fits in your finger circle (Dime, Penny, Nickel, Quarter) Then take the coin and go to the nearest vending machine. Buy your favorite beverage (unless its pepsi, Pepsi doesn't work for this method. If you use Pepsi, then the estimated age of your snake will be WAY off) Now take your beverage back to your place and sit on your couch or chair or whatever you sit in to relax. Now, using the finger circle you made before, put your fingers around the cap and open the bottle (hopefully you still have your fingers in the circle position) Now take a drink from your beverage, you've earned. Now this is the most important part: Spit out your drink in a spray of shock and disbelief as you realize this is a hoax and I have no idea what I'm talking about.

She's under a year old, arbitrarily choose a date of birth that will be easy to remember.
For instance, when I got my BP in September it was around 8 or 9 months old which was close enough that I decided we share the same birthday in January :)

Cut it in 1/2 around the mid section and count the rings.

Sorry, that was in poor taste...

There is no way to tell unless someone kept accurate records of the animal.

If you have a youth, you may be able to guess, but as someone said, they all grow at different rates so weight can't be used
at all. I've had one girl hit 4100 grams at 27 months (yes, seriously) and I've had two year old snakes barely hit 800 grams.
I've heard of them being much smaller.

You can try, but a snake will NEVER tell you their age... If they did, they'd be lying.

If you purchased her in a store, I'm going to take a wild stab and say she is likely 200 grams or less, and probably 4-6 months old.

How close am I to the weight?
