Pastel baby always has slightly pink belly?
I'm new to this and don't know much about morphs and the characteristics they have. So, my question is: Do pastel bp's always have a slightly pink belly or is this abnormal? I am positive he isn't going into shed, his belly ALWAYS looks pink.

Need more information about your setup. What are you using for a hot spot? How are you controlling the heat? How are you measuring temperatures and what are those temperatures?

I have a UTH on a tstat. Hot spot is set at 92 and the cold is always between 80-84. I have the tstat and tank set up like the sticky for glass tanks. Tstat probe is on the bottom of tank sandwiched between the tank and the uth. Humidity can be an issue sometimes so I do spray occasionally to help with that, but I do make sure that the paper towels are never wet, at most slightly damp. I change them when they get that way.

When they are really small babies their skin is very thin and can often look pink as the internals show through.

My pastel is still really young, I know what you mean about the pink belly but I do think it's mostly age related vs something to do with his morph specifically. And it's very subtle most of the time with a definite increase in intensity during a shed. Have you seen yours go into shed yet to be able to compare? If so, do you notice a huge difference or are you saying it doesn't really seem to change.
