anybody ever used this thermometer?

im making a temporary carry enclosure for my BP since soon i will be making the drive from NY to FL, and its going to be right in the middle of winter. Now my car has heating of course and i will be ok most of the time, but i want to keep a probe in there to make sure everything is kosher, i was thinking of mounting the reader near my radio or something so i can keep an eye on it. I was going to buy another accurite, but this seems more practical, and i just need it to work for me for the 2 day drive.

Anybody ever used these ebay ones? they accurate?
