Pet Stores!!!

I went to my local pet shop the other day and saw a live mouse with a cali king,the rodent was all over the snake!No one was even watching the feeding.The snake showed no interest in the mouse and it was stuck in there with it!Next i mosied along to the ball pythons and red tail boas,and geuss what i saw?a 1 foot snake jammed in a 5 gallon tank.Its people like that who make me angry!Who should i talk to about this?(animal control,the owner,etc)

I have no idea how to help you on that one, bpkid. I believe you posted once that you are 11? I'm not sure a random adult (store owner, or employee or manager) is going to believe you, but you could try.

I don't really have any good solutions for your problem, other than having you get some sort of adult to look at the issue...I believe you, it's just that some people are probably going to go "stupid kid doesn't know anything". If somebody does that, the problem won't get solved.

Anyway, I'll let some other people post, or pm you or something and maybe you can get some better solutions on how to keep the situation from exploding and getting the problem resolved. Good Luck.

even if she does there is a good chance the pet store owner is not going to change his (or her) ways, obviously whoever owns the store doesnt seem to care about it. But hey you can try.

I'd say start with the owner and see what happens. Here in Indiana, we can report things like that to our Mayor's Action line and they open a file and give the petshop so many days to fix things.
