Help with Morph Identification
Re: Help with Morph Identification
No he is Wild Caught. I got him in a group of baby females from Africa; however, more than half turned out to be males including this guy. I am slowly finding good homes for the males but I was thinking of keeping this guy. I was looking around and he kind of looks like the "Flame" ball python on World of Pythons but then again he kind of looks like a "Brite" ball python from the same site. However, I have seen some very nice looking "Normals" as well. So I was trying to get a consensus of opinions before I find another home for him. Thanks for the compliment he is a stunner!
Re: Help with Morph Identification
Also, his blushed head and heavy dorsal blushing combine with a lot of side flames makes me tend towards "not normal." In addition, he is extremely light colored with a reduced pattern. When he comes out of shed he is on "Fire!"
Re: Help with Morph Identification
Well until he is proven to be otherwise, he is a WC normal. That being said he is really stunning and may be worth dinking around with. The question is do you pair him with a morph or do you pair him with a proven normal, as to isolate whatever he may be carrying, if anything? Best of luck to you whatever you decide.
Re: Help with Morph Identification
Thanks riditmars for the reply as well as Ransack. I guess in the end, the only for-sure way is to breed him out. I was just trying to see if others thought he was worth the time and effort to dinker around with and I have gotten my answer which is "Yes," he might not be just a "Normal" and is worth the time and effort.
Thanks again
