I'm going to be building a 4 tub 41qt rack this weekend and since I do not heat my entire reptile room/guest bedroom it has to be heated.
I've only bought racks in the past. I'm pretty handy so I'm not worried about the construction, but wanted to get some reviews on heat tape and heat cable from first hand experiences.
If I run heat cable I'll recess it below the tubs using a router. If I use heat tape I'll probably just put a layer of heat resistant aluminum tape above and below.
Thoughts or suggestions? Thanks.
