My very first lock; EVER!!

So this morning, I began my pairing between my big normal proven female (2400 g) and my adult male proven pinstripe (~1200 g). I'm really excited about this because I tried breeding tortoises in the past with no success so the fact that they're actually locked up is great news for me!! And yes, I know that this in no way means that I will get eggs but hey, at least I'm getting "locks of love" so I must be doing something right! http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...24f93c7a8e.jpg

I know the feeling. So excited about the future of my snakes. I can't wait until my whitewashes have their first lock in two years or so (or whenever the female is ready) I'll get him up to size as quickly and safely as possible and start breeding an army of codom and quad ressessive's. A whitewash clown or pied would be crazy. Or how about whitewash clown pie! aka vpi snow whitewash clown pie. 5 Ressessive genes. That would be a beast! They haven't been able to separate the whitewash gene from the albino and axanthic yet so they come as triple ressessive's
