    Snake tub system
SO... I've got a really good setup for ballpythons, hognose and boa...

The issue i have run into is a medium/substrate.

I was using different ones for different snakes, aspen in the hog, eco earth on the ball pythons and bark/mulch for boa.

That didn't last long. I switched to news paper...

Problem now is that they go under it and poop, or push it aside, or poop on the side of the tub.

SO at this point im thinking about just going bare tub to split the difference.. thoughts?

I hate to critique you (ive never had a herp) but hognoses do need to burrow. Why didn't the aspen work? Have you tried coconut husk? I've heard good things about it. Sorry that it doesn't work out for you. That must be so frustrating.

AS far as i know and my experience with hogs go, they do not NEED to borrow. My hoggie seems happy with the newspaper and hasn't had any change in feeding.

Aspen was okay except it was difficult to keep clean because of urine, never know where. Also i didn't like it getting stuck to the food that was being fed. Shy eaters dont take off tongs.
