I am new to this list and I am new to snakes though we do have a Leopard gecko we have had for 10 years and a water dragon who is just 6 months.

I have learned a lot but still have many questions. I am planning on building a table 10 feet long by 30 inches deep of melamine board. I was thinking of cages 2 feet wide and 18 inches tall by 30 inches deep. Is melamine board OK for this project and is the size alright?

Under the 3 layers of large cages I was planing on some Sterilite boxes sitting on Melamine with either heat tape on the melamine or individual lights. Is this OK?

I live in Canada so who do I talk to about Ball morphs?

Thanks for the help I am sure I will need more.

You're building this for ball pythons, right? I'm not sure about the depth. I don't really know the size of a 40 gal tank, which would be roughly comparable for a full size bp. You might be able to look at an animal plastics T3 cage and see if it has listed dimensions, and then you could base your dimensions on that.

I don't know anything about melamine, so I have no idea how well the heat conducts. Lights can be a humidity hassle.

just for clarification, this is what I think you're talking about (viewed from the front)
