    How to disinfect a snake?
My BP has been fighting a RI and tomorrow will be 1 week on Baytril. He is clearing up, breathing and hissing sound way better and little to no mucus in his mouth now. I clean and disinfected his cage when I got back from the vet and I plan to do a full disinfect again in his tub but he has spots on him from mucus from his mouth. How should I clean and disinfect him so he doesn't just give it back to himself?

    Hi,

He won't. As long as you complete the course of baytril ( and it is effective against his R.I ) he will not get reinfected by something like that.

As for removing them I would simply wipe him with a damp paper towel. Definitely no disinfectant.
