Switching from Mice to Rats?

My girls eat 2 small adult mice every 2 weeks. What would be the rat equivalent of this? Feeding day is tomorrow.http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...998fc3149f.jpg

I think we would have been able to answer this on your previous post without needing a new one. As other people recommended, I would try a rat once a week. It'll be up to you to determine what the proper size rat is (though I agree that small or weanling rat is probably right). Go to your store and try to get a frozen rat that is slightly wider than the widest part of your snake (so just over 4" in girth).

Your snakes might not switch to rats right away. If you're at the store, you might consider picking up a bag of used mouse bedding so you can scent the rat to smell like a mouse before feeding.
