Isn't the fog cold? I used one once but I returned it because it dropped the temperature too much.

Nope it works great, her humidity was at 30 j couldn't get it higher w.o spraying every 10 min.. Now it's at a stable, 60 and the temp are the same, can't be much happier and Lucy is enjoying it a lot

You could put it on a timer or you can hook it up to a controller. Many higher end tstats will control humidity as will the so when the humidity drops below the set number the controller will turn the fogger on. I had one set up like this for my BRB before he was in a pvc cage. It worked very well and I love the way the fog rolls in.

Ive heard so many mixed opnions but I built a custom enclosure abd sealed it but still cant get humidity above 40 so was looking at other options.

I didn't have a problem. One tip I would suggest is using distilled water. The fogger will build up deposits over time and fail or need a good deep cleaning. Distilled water to help keep that from happening.

Also the little bottle it comes with is a joke. I changed it out to a 2liter soda bottle. The bottle adapter fits well and gives the fogger much more time between fill up.

What brand or style do you use?

I had a ReptiFogger. I sold it off with the big glass tank I replaced with my custom pvc ones.

Sounds kind of cool even with a plastic cage, I may look into one but I don't want a swamp either so I'm undecided.
