    poop or regurge?
I just came to check on my bins and my pastel balls bin smelled like she had pooped. I looked inside to find a little bit of urate next to something that looked like she had either regurgitated or pooped a half digested rat that she had eaten back on the 21. She is about 1100g eating two small/med live rats. She had a bad grab on a rat her last feed and sustained a mouth injury which I had cleaned daily and now every other day. We skipped this feeding because of the injury, but she has had a normal poop since then. And then this... she's not showing any signs of her mouth being infected. She's active and alert. Bin temps are at 84 ambient and 89 in hot spot. She is on a thermostat. I did have her out for a small time last night after I had checked her mouth. I'm just not sure what to think. I think it's poo, but I don't understand why it's so undigested and mucusy. Any ideas? I have had her water dish in the bin all week but the humidity never gets over 65%. I'm at a loss. She's acting completely normal, and this rat would have been from the 21st. So two weeks.http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...1b131eabad.jpg

That's poop with some rat fur and other undigested stuff, not regurge. If it were regurge you wouldn't have to ask what it was, your nose would tell you!

If she's 1100 grams try keeping her at one small to medium rat per week so she uses her food more efficiently.

Yeah I ended up smooshing it to see what it was and it was just a giant ball of hair. I was only giving her one rat but she was getting really aggressive and hunting after only one. I'll try going back to one on her. Thanks for the help

    I've been there...;)
If there were urates, then then it's safe to assume that's it's poop.
Ive had snakes that eat multiple meals and the increased intentional transit time can produce deficants that are covered in mucus and still hair.
