    Eco earth tips?
I just switched from newspaper to eco earth in order to boost humidity a bit more. Any tips?
    * I put about 4 quarts across 20 gallons. I don't see a need to make it thick.
    * I just misted the EO with the sprayer, but I read some people soak it in water to really get it to expand. Do any python owners do this?
    * I didn't do this but maybe could have lined the bottom with newspaper and put EO on top of it

I buy it is bricks so I have to soak it. Recently I started mixing it with Repti Bark and cypress mulch. I like the way it looks in my naturalistic terrariums mixed. I used plain eco earth for my hoggy for a good while but I prefer the mix Im now using and my hoggy still gets to burrow and make tunnels but the eco earth does not get as dusty as it did before.

I love eco earth. I use it in all of my enclosures. And a good thing i noticed is if they get a mouth full they can get it out themselves easily
