    Sorry to say
I'm sorry to say my wife has unsubscribed to this forum because of some rather nasty comments made on a post simply asking for advice. We always ask for advice from multiple sources and try to use what works best for the situation and individual animal in question. In this case we got some good advice from many people and our snake Sasha is doing much better now, though we are making some changes to where her hidey hole is. So thank you to the people who gave advice even if we didn't go that route it always helps to have multiple perspectives to decide what is best for an individual animal. I will still be on this forum and very excited to be part of the herp world.

I'm guessing this is the snake that vomited? She was given very very good advice and she completely disregarded it. That's one thing I LOVE about THIS forum is that flat tell you how it is. No beating around the bush just how it is. They can seem a little ruff at times but that's how life is, straight up. I love this place.

Thank you for the advice but the route I took worked very well for the situation and animal in question. Any future problems I will still post for advice but keep in mind I will also seek advice from as many sources as possible. Again thank you for the advice and I look forward to learning more from this forum just hope people can keep it constructive in the future. The internet is to easy to hide behind comments when you don't have to face somebody. So again thank you for your comments and I look forward to future discussions

What other sources did you check?

She was given the BEST advice by some of the BEST people on this forum, but she chose not to follow it.

These people genuinely care about their animals, and the animals of others. We (as a forum community) don't beat around the bush when it comes to our favorite hobby, and we may come off as rude and brash.

Hell you should find the topic about the "spider" banana, that wasn't a spider, that was quite entertaining.

We do have the best of intentions, because we want to see everyone here have good and healthy collections.

So I'm sorry to see her go, but easy come, easy go I suppose.

The route taken was one that would make you feel better as a person, not for the animal.
Same theory, your dog will eat a 50 pound bag of food if you let them.
Does that mean its what you should do or whats best for them?
Its over an done, responses wont change the actions taken.
I just hope for you alls sake there is nothing more wrong.

I never take an action just to make me feel better it is always about the animal. Having done horses to parrots to reheb a wild squirrel and release my wife was part of the hero world and helping educate people back in the 80's so again I appreciate the advice but it was more the don't come crying to this forum type of talk that is neither constructive nor helpful and really shouldn't it be about what works best for the individual animal? Sasha is doing great now but I still appreciate the advice. Thank you again appreciate the input.
