    Scale missing on BPs head?
    Hello, all.
I have a male lesser bee, and hes had what i thought were just dry scales atop his head for a while.
I thought it was bad shed, but shed after shed, it didnt go away. I concluded that they were just dry scales, but now theres a white spot where a scale used to be... do dry scales usually come off? I put extra virgin coconut oil on the dry spots and it doesn't seem to be working. Is it possible scales can come off during shed? He's healthy other than that.
    Help?

    hey there,
I'm not a vet, but I don't see anything to be too concerned about...scales are used for protection and to prevent dessication, so just keep an eye on that area throughout your snakes life, and as long as it doesn't ever look like there is an infection, it should be alright.

    Thanks for the reply!
I didnt think it was anything to be TOO concerned about, but i thought i'd ask. The dry spots seemed to be spreading, didnt think it was normal. Almost looks like a scar
