Jeff Corwin!!

I just got done watching Jeff Corwin... has anyone ever seen the episode where Jeff was trying to find the Anaconda they named "Monstra?" OOOOO it was such a cool episode!!! he found some Anacondas starting to breed, a female with 2 males wrapped around her... and then he found "Monstra." She was huge!!! 15 ft long and weighed 215 lbs...

i love snakes. they're amazing. :)

I caught a bit of this tonight ( during comercials in the baseball games ;) ). It was pretty interesting, esp the breeding.

oh i know!!! i didnt know more than one male would try.. he said they could keep trying for up to a month!! ehhh. i'd get bored... ;)

Sounds like the males hi-jacked a truck of Cialas or Viagra.

I watched that episode early last month I think. I remember I really wanted to see it but my mom had to watch some crap movie, so I waited until 3am for the repeat. It was worth it. I think if I ever get a big female snake, I'mma call her Monstra. Sounds sexy. 8)

I don't remember if they showed it, but anacondas congregate into these huge "breeding balls" where a bunch of males try to mate with one female. Now that's some crazy stuff!

Sadly, I missed it but I watch Jeff Corwin frequently. I've been catching this guy Austin Stevens lately on AP and his show is usually pretty good. They call him the 'Snakemaster' :lol:

I have a friend who worked in the bio department of my university. She was a grad student and in charge of taking down observations for a behavioral experament. The specific behaior, the mating behaivors of lepard gheckos. She had vidiocamera trained on all the test subjects and would sitt around watching the tapes to see what would happen. We dubed her the Ghecko Porn Queen, picked on her all the time. Still do.

I also caught the show,My sister was on the phone with her boyfriend and she yelled for me to come and see it,my family always yells for me to come to the TV whenever something snake realated is on.

anyways, it was a good show, did you see the one where the land was all drying up and he rescued that annie who had ticks all over it............or was that the same episode ???
