Saying goodbye...

Had to say goodbye to my Shenanigans, my sweet praying mantis friend, on Halloween. At the very same day my father in-law passed as well. Its silly to cry over a bug when someone so important to me and my husband is gone. I feel a little guilty, but Shenanigans was such an amazing bug. She always ate from my hand, reached for me every time she saw me and came out almost every day to snuggle up on my hand and watch TV with me.

I floated her body down the river tonight... It was so hard to see her go....

A friend is a friend, regardless of species, and it is not wrong at all to mourn the loss of a friend. So sorry for your loss. :(

I'm new to this site and to BP's in general. But I fall in love with odd creators sometimes. I have had a few praying mantis in my time and they are amazing! I am really liking this forum because there are so many like me. I'm sorry for both of your losses [emoji216]
