Gloria's Progression Thread

Gloria learned to play Snakes of Catan last night.

As the title might imply, I'll be using this thread to post photos and updates as Gloria grows up!

Slightly off topic. Which expansion are you playing? Do you know if there are other themes of the game other than the Star Trek one?

Omg I am completely obsessed with settlers of catan. I have the board game, the dice game, the app on my phone, and the game on my xbox lol. I haven't gotten into any of the expansions yet but I will eventually. But Gloria is a gorgeous snake! Thanks for sharing her with us. Can't wait to see how she grows [emoji4]

Gloria was "playing" the Seafarers expansion with us. There seem to be lots of others. I've played the Star Trek one, and we just got the Knights & Cities expansion but haven't played yet. Here's the full list, which also includes Explorers & Pirates, and Traders & Barbarians. Plus all the ones AlexisFitzy mentioned! =P

Gloria reached 430g this week! My mom (not a snake fan and not terribly supportive of my pet choice) met her for the first time after Thanksgiving. Happy to announce we're winning her over! Her reaction was "Wow... she's much prettier than I thought. And very calm." Gloria's response was enigmatic and snake-like, as usual. :P

She was hatched at the end of June (not sure of exact date). Her first meal was July 4th and she hasn't skipped a feeding yet. She's on small rats (45-55g) now, eating every 4-5 days. Surprisingly for all that growth she's only had 2 sheds. She looked dull today so I bet another one is coming up soon.
