    Shedding Question
My 6m old female BP has been in blue for 5 days now. She is spending all her time in whichever hide I put her in. Yesterday I soaked her for a little while in warm water and her humidity I'm keeping between 60-75%. She normally is in blue for 24 hours then a couple if days later sheds. Is this normal?

And yes I read the sticky, it is excellent, but it doesn't clarify if 5 days in blue is normal...??

Yes its normal. Each snake is different, smaller snakes may only be in blue for a few days, larger bulkier snakes can be in blue for a week or more.

I really wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah don't worry about it, my first was in blue for 5 days to a week before it cleared up and soon after he shed his skin.

Well her eyes mostly cleared today (6days)...I'm keeping humidity up at 70% and she enjoyed a warm soak last night. Hoping she sheds soon, this is taking so long. Up til now 3 days from blue to shed so it's freaking me out! I also miss my little friend hanging out with me!

As long as you are maintaining humidity at 70 - 75% once in blue until it sheds, you shouldn't need the warm soaks. They can actually wash away the natural oils that help a shed separate while in blue. If your snake doesn't shed in one piece and leaves some ragtag remnants a soak will help the pieces slough off.
