    I found this vid on youtube last week and it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen. I recently tried this with my tiny 2' hypo and he did exactly the same motion / technique. It's great to witness them deomnstrat an instinctive skill like this. Plus, the boa in the video is georgous as well.

    Any type of climbing activity is incredibly healthy for semi arboreal snakes IMO.

    I try to set up my enclosures with climbing options, and also allow the snakes to climb as much as possible when they are out.
