Finding a breeder.

How can I go about finding a ball python breeder near me? I'm in middle TN. Also, what questions should I ask a breeder to ensure a healthy sociable (as social as they can be) ball? Thanks for your help!

No such thing as a social ball, just one that has been handled enough to be more comfortable with it.

I would suggest going to google.com and typing in "Ball Python breeders in Tennessee". Go to the ones that are close enough for you and take a look at there operations. Talk to the breeder and buy an animal from a seller that seems trustworthy and has good customer service.

I would suggest that you look up some common ailments so that you know what they look like and could recognize them so that there will be a purpose to you looking at a perspective purchase.

I beg to differ! There are totally social balls out there!

This.. Education is your best tool in making sure you get the best animal you can.

Your other option might be finding an expo close to you to check out.
Honestly as already mentioned......educate yourself and then when you think you know everything you need to know start over again. We all learn from eachother and what works in my house might not work in yours.;)

FYI if you want handleable go older bcause little ones think everything is trying to kill them.
