I have a ball python, its about 3 years old and approx. 3.5 feet long. When I bought the snake the guy at the pet store assured me the it would be no problem for them to get frozen food for the snake, well its been a problem ever since. At first it wasn't too bad because the snake was small, and all they could get were fuzzies, nothing bigger.
So I found a guy locally that also had a ball python & he bread his own rats, so I was buying them off him, they were nice size rats (about the same size of rat you would buy as a pet).
The problem is he had just recently sold his snake and all of his rats. He didn't get his name, so I can't call this guy to buy them from him. Also another part of them problem is my wife is an animal lover, she won't let me breed my own rats or mice.
So is there any thing else that I can feed my snake other then frozen mice, or am I going to have to sell him.?
any advice would be appreciated. thx

    Mantids <Praying Mantis>....anybody interested?
i'm not sure if you're trying to find a local live breeder, or a good place to get quality frozen rodents. If your snake will take frozen, i'd reccomend purchasing from rodentpro.com
They have a great reputation, great prices, and all in all are a great company to deal with

Ditto on what Jason just said. We purchase all our feeders from Rodent Pro and have always been pleased.
