In this case this would not be possible there is not het Pinstripe ;)

A double Het is a normal looking animal carrying the gene for 2 different recessive mutation for example Double Het Albino Pied (Normal Looking animal carrying the gene for Albino and Pied)

Pinstripe is not recessive, so you either have a Pinstripe Het Albino (Pinstripe carrying the gene for albino) or you don't.

If someone tells you the animal is double het Albino / Pin (RUN)

Also keep in mind that when buying het it is very important to buy from a reputable breeder.

It means that its carrys two receasive genes but dose not show. What are they het for and can the guy prove it. Do you know the guy/trust him that he id not telling you they are het and really just a normal?

Im not going to take the chance of just getting a normal. He does have a proven breeder 0.1 Joshua tree Rosie boa and CCB southern copperheads.

If he tells you there is such a thing as DH Albino / Pinstripe, I would not take a chance with anything else he has. :gj:

Double het means that the animal has two recessive genes which DO NOT show in the way the animal looks. A picture of a double het will LOOK LIKE A NORMAL so it's appearance is irrelevant.

I think you are saying that someone wants to trade you their double het for an albino pinstripe of yours.

Unless you are planning to breed the double het animal, it will be useless to you since it looks NORMAL.

If you are planning to breed the double het, then it may be important to know what two genes it is recessive for, albino, pied, ghost, lavender, gstripe, clown, etc.

I am assuming though that this is not the case and you just want a good looking snake.

In this case the Albino Pinstripe looks much more interesting than a double het, which would look normal.

    A albino pinstripe

Than the animal is a Pinstripe Het Albino, again there is no DH Albino / Pinstripe (pinstripe is not recessive)

You might want to learn a little more about genetics before acquiring animals with genetics you are unsure of :gj:
