Sleeping on its back

I have a female who likes to sleep on her back. She is resting like a female who is gravid. I got her from some who had a male lesser. However I think he was very young. When I got her she weighed about 900 grams. Now she weighs over 1200 grams, I have not paired her with any of my males as she is too young to breed. As the previous owner told me she was about a year old. She eats like there is no tomorrow and everything else about her seems normal. I just think it's odd that she likes to sleep in this position. At 900 grams, I would think that she was to small to become gravid. Even if she and the male lesser were kept together. This has been going on for the last two or three months. So what do you guys think?

Does she have the spider gene in her?

And sometimes they sleep in what looks like really uncomfortable positions - especially after a big feed.

No she is a normal bp. She sleeps like this even when she's empty. I don't know maybe she just likes it. When she wakes up she rolls over and looks like what are you looking at. I don't know?

Anyone have any ideas?

I've heard of someone else's snake sleeping on it's back but not being gravid at all. I think it's just a comfortable position for some snakes lol. I wouldn't worry about it. Snakes are silly sometimes [emoji4]

Yes I think you are right.I just thought it was odd. As none of my others snakes do it. I guess she's special in her own way.
