    Change in feeding habits
Ok, my ball is almost a year old. I started him on ff mice for the first couple months, then switched him to rat pups then up to weened and finally to smalls. He did fine for about five months or so, but two months ago he just stopped eating. I know balls can be fussy and just chose to stop eating, so I wasn't too concerned....but then one week turned into two, four, six, etc. After two months I started to get a little concerned that every time I offered a rat that was the right size for him, he just wasn't interested. Well today I decided to pick up a couple large mice (way too small for him, but I figured if he wasn't going to eat them I wanted to spend the least amount of money) and see if he would take them. I offered it to him and he immediately struck. It actually startled me a little because I wasn't expecting him to take it. Has anyone else had this problem? Maybe he just doesn't like the batch of rats I have right now (smalls) or could they be a little too big for him? Using his weight and circumference they are fine for him but who knows. Figured I'd see if anyone else experienced a change in feeding like this.

    Thanks!
