Hey there. Now that I am starting to buy my bp breeding group, I am starting to look into good incubators. What incubators are best for holding lots of bp eggs that isn't crazily expensive? Or am I better off making my own? I'd like to hear your opinions. Thanks

To hold lots of eggs and for it not being crazy expensive you need to build your own.

In that case your biggest cost will be for a RELIABLE thermostat, you will also need some heat tape, the rest can be picked up for free.

Building your own is really easy and usually the most economical. Being able to customize it to your own needs is key. One word of advice is to always plan ahead. Don't build one to hold 4 clutches and then next season find out you have 10. Good luck

I picked up a Red Bull mini fridge on craigslist for next to nothing. At about half the size of a full size refrigerator, Its plenty big enough. I also love the glass door. It lets you see what is going on without opening the door and affecting the temps. If your anything like me that comes in handy at hatching time, because I want to check them several times a day.

You will be better off building your own. It's kinda fun to build as well.
