    Vanilla Mojave?
I'm considering picking up this Vanilla Mojave, but I'm not very experienced with the vanilla gene. What do you all this of this guy?

My gut reaction is to say, he's not a Vanilla Mojave.

I hatched one out in 2012, and she was WAYYYY yellower than this. Even at a year old, she was richly yellow in all her markings. I don't see that in this snake.

But then I have to remind myself I am probably biased, because I breed for the best look in all of my morphs, and my girl was probably just a stellar example of a Vanilla Mojave. This guy is certainly heavily blushed and faded to be "just a Mojave". And he does have a pretty faded out head for a Mojave too.

So he quite possibly is a Vanilla Mojave, just not as pretty as my girl was.

That's what I figured. He seems like a pale/faded Mojave, but I'm not sure how much of that is the picture quality. I'm just hesitant to drive two hours round for a snake that might not be what I'm looking for. He's a craigslist find at a good price, but I'm starting to feel like I should wait to purchase from a breeder who knows his stuff and I can have a bit more confidence in, rather than the 'buyer beware' stance that everything on craigslist has.
