Herpstat

Hey guys. I just picked up a set up that came with a herpstat. And I have a couple question.

1- how come there is so much variance as in if I have it set to 85 the temps will drop to like 80 before it seems to come back up and it takes a while to come back. How do I set it so it will kick it after like 1 deg?

2- what is pro mode. I have the option to turn it off or turn it on?

Im not sure which one you have and what you are using it on but it sounds like you do not have it on proportional settings. Sounds like its in a on/off mode. the "pro" mode is probably the proportional option.

I checked the download able manuals but they don't explain what the pro mode is.

Which Herpstat is it?

Under what options is the choice to turn pro on or off?

Is it a basic ?

From what I can see I line it's either an intro or an ND.
