    Just a little example I thought I would share of a great way to humidity proof your terrarium if you have a screen top!

    You can use plastic wrap, provided it is a high quality grade with a high melting point. This brand melts at 100 C and my lamp only hits about 68 C (roughly 140 F)

    It is a great alternative to board or tin foil which can make your terrarium darker than desired.

    Just make sure you test it before you stick it on!

    PS: This thread is directed at terrarium keepers, I know how much y'all love your tubs :)

    Nice looking setup. Interesting for plastic wrap. I've seen some setups use a plexiglass lid to replace the sliding screen top with a few holes cut into it for the light and ventilation.

    that sounds like a great option as well - this is my super-low-budget-super-easy version :D
