so i went to our tiny little neighborhood reptile show here yesterday. and when i say tiny--i mean really, really exceptionally small. :) i was surprised to see alan bosch there though, with his scaled back collection of gorgeous bps and other herps. i REALLY wanted to get a pastel that he had--but it was het for granite, knocking the price a bit out of my range...*sigh*. anyhow, i did end up walking out with a pair of red eyed tree frogs! i didn't expect to even find them there, and thought i wouldn't be getting them until either the greenville or atlanta show, but one of the vendors had them and i couldn't resist. they are just the cutest little buggers! i'll try and snap some pics once they have some time to get settled in.

They are definitely cute little guys. They hit my "awww" reflex every time. :) That's cool that Alan made it to your show. If he's there, that means he should have a GA dealer's license and should definitely be at the November show here, so I'll look forward to seeing him there. Just a few weeks away!

marla, i emailed alan a while back and he said that he was going to be at both the greenville and atlanta shows. (i didn't even think to ask him about the little savannah show.) :) i did have a good time, despite the smallness, but i knew it was gonna be like that because they had one put on by the same people here a while back. that's the show that got me researching bps... :D pics soon i promise!

Excellent! I still don't know if I'll make it to the Greenville show for budget reasons, but it would take a disaster to make me miss the Atlanta show. I can't wait! And there's nothing wrong with little shows. We enjoyed the Dixie show despite its size.
