    Wife rescued dragon and was told solarglo was okay for uvb and heat but can't find info to back this up. Will it work with basking light or do I need something else? Thanks

    I'm curious as well. It would be nice to have a 2 for 1 deal in a bulb but I haven't seen anyone use these yet.

    I have heard the powersun bulbs are great, but that was from one guy who seemed slightly off his rocker and very biased toward the product. I think he spent more time under the bulb than his lizard did. heh.

    The solar glo bulb is exo terra's version of the powersun. Its an MVB that will provide heat and UVA/UVB...when measured under a light meter the MVBs seem to put off more UV than the tube lights, however IMO you are only getting your UV on the basking site. Many people.love them however I use flourescent fixtures that run the length of the cage for my UV. Either way should be fine though.
