1st Breeding Season Post-Mortem
Hi guys!
Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed my first breeding season, and I'm thinking about the next pairing. I have quite a few females that are at a good weight, but I don't want to over-do it, and have more babies than I can handle :gj:. I'm currently at 13 baby mouths to feed, tubs to clean, water dishes to refill, and babies to play with/take photos. I think I could handle a bit more, but I want to do the slow and steady approach :D. I definitely need to keep a closer eye on my females that are cycling, as I had not 1, but TWO surprise clutches this year that should not have been surprises :colbert:.
So for the upcoming year, I'm going to keep pairings light but powerful. Here are 2 females I'm DEFINITELY going to try to breed in November/December :).
