RIP AL you were great Friend
So today I come home from work and Find my (first ) rescued corn snake dead. I have had AL for almost 20 Years. He was my first rescued snake ( I was 17 ) and he came to me though someone my sister was dating ( their friend) as well as being full grown. I know he was every bit of 23+ years in age . The day was coming but still depressing as can be he been though some of the worst and best times with me . I am going to miss him and his open mouth sleeping.( we kept thinking he had died with the way he slept for the last 2 years that we had to check on him 3 times a day . I am glad in a way with his passing he no longer has to suffer or miss meals cause he could not find it this boy had gong totally blind and was so weak I had to prekill his food for him to eat and was only eating once every 3-4 weeks..:(

I'm so sorry for your loss mech; it sounds like you two both bettered each other's lives which is the best thing an organism on this Earth can do. The best to you and AL.

I cannot imagine losing a snake I'd had for 20 years. I am so sorry for your loss. RIP Al, until you meet again on the Rainbow Bridge.
