I see you use aspen, I also use that stuff. I have been having trouble keeping humidity up in the tank. A friend said it was because that stuff sucks in all the water and humidity. How do you keep your up?

I love the Aspen and my Humidity stays ok but I live in the Oregon Rain Forest, Before I moved here I lived in the Desert part of Oregon and keeping proper Humidity so I added a moist moss hide when needed and I misted the tanks twice a day. I also read that the Cypress Bark holds water better than Aspen for Humidity Level.

My lesser was afraid to touch the ground of his cage when I switched it over to bark. He'd climb on everything in his cage in order to not touch the stuff. After a day of him avoiding his hide I took him out and guided his head into the warm hide and it looked as if it suddenly clicked "Oh hey, this is nice." He's been fine since. Silly snakes.
