Well, I guess it depends on age and eating habits. Males can get big, I just haven't seen too many instances of a male that large.

My normal male is 2300 grams. He's more of a pet then anything else, I don't have any breeding plans with him. He eats 1 rat once a week. He also produces sperm plugs rather often...

My male pastel was 2800. And trust me, he was a he. They may not be really common, but the big boys are out there.
