    Hello everyone!

I am serious about getting my first T. And I am looking for some that match some criteria, was wondering of you guys would be able to provide me with some spieces to research. So, my requirements:

    - Terrestrial
    - Docile
    - Slow moving
    - 4-6 inch leg span

I know a few. Mexican Red Knee, Mexican True Red Leg, Honduran Curly Hair. There is one I am very interested in, called Chilean Flame. I have done some searching and they seem pretty difficult to come accross in the UK. Any of these 4 you would recommend getting? And also, any you would think I should have a look at?

    Thanks,
    George

Mexican Red Knee! Love mine :D

Another great first T would be Avicularia Versicolor (or any Avicularia honestly). They are not terrestrial, however they spin amazing funnel webs and adults are beautiful colors! Mine are very docile too, I handle them frequently. Just a thought! (My Avic Metallica is the one in my profile photo....but it's hard to see because it blends in with my shirt.)

Ts are highly addictive, so I'll be shocked if you only end up with one ;)

Wow, Avicularia Versicolors are amazing! What a beautiful animal! I need it to be quite docile, house spiders are a phobia of mine, however I feel different about T's, but still don't want a lunatic. I do not intend on handling it much, but I guess this must be done when doing a clean of the viv. How do you clean the viv with all the webbing if it is inside the tunnels? Wait until it is out and move it to a temp enclosure then?

Thanks for showing me them, that is a wonderful speices :)
