Gloria the Butter Pastel! Ain't she glorious?
Just returned from a week-long conference to find Gloria's successful first shed! (She went blue the day I left. Perfect snake timing, of course) Today she is almost 3 months old, so I thought I'd finally post a progress album of my scaley true love.

When I first saw Gloria at a reptile expo, it was love at first sight. She was 127g when I brought her home.

Gloria in the hand at 2 months old. This will be fun to compare against later when she's 6 months, 1 year, etc.

She's a champion eater of f/t rat pups!

Sometimes she takes the straightest course while roaming her tub.

She turned blue right before I went out of town. (Don't worry, had a friend monitor her humidity)

And I found a beautiful, complete shed when I returned! (I accidentally ripped it afterwards.)

Here she is, freshly shed at 3 months old and 223g. I wonder if she's starting to lighten up a bit?

Gotta love those butter pastel colors. I adore her funky patterns.

Here's a pic of her set-up, with UTH on a thermostat and dimmer-controlled CHE.

She likes to come out and explore when she thinks I'm not looking!

Here is an album of more photos for those interested. Gloria is still a little shy and has a reputation for being grumpy. But I'm hoping with time, patience, and handling she'll come to tolerate me as much as I love her. :P

Nice looking butter pastel! My first BP was a pastave that favors your gloria. I hope she continues to do well for you.

Thanks! I'll have to look up some photos of your Pastave. I tend to favor Butters, but there seems to be so much overlap in the Lesser/Butter/Mojave complex. I look forward to seeing if/how her color changes as she matures. Definitely lots of updates to come. =P

Gloria is gorgeous! I love butters. Every since I saw my little butter spider at a show, I've been hooked. Now I have a male lesser and another lesser is on the way :). Id like to add another butter female though.

Thanks guys! She came out and roamed the tub last night before basking in all the adoration. =P
