So I found this kingspin paradox het hypo ball python for sale and he is so gorgeous, but I was wondering, is $350 a good deal? Here are some pictures that the guy sent me.http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...5c7dfd432e.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...9b32838bf9.jpg

What do you guys think? How much do normal kingspins usually go for?

I could only find prices for kingpins, who go for between 200 - 350 on the reptile report marketplace, but big breeders seem to like them for 300 - 500ish. 350 for a kingspin sounds like a good deal to me.

Yes, that is a great price, in my opinion. Yes, you can find regular kingspins for cheaper (I did not find any het for hypo in my search), but for one with a het and a cool paradox, that price is low already. I've seen kingpins go for $350 recently.

I agree it's a good price. I'd try to get pics of parents to make sure he's actually het hypo

If I saw that snake at that price, it would already be sold.

1.) Do you already have a hypo project?

2.) Do you plan to start a hype project?

2.) This is a seriously lame paradox.

unless you answered yes to 1.) or 2.) then you are just buying a Kingspin BP. So whatever that is worth to you. Though from the way it sounds there are plenty of others you can turn it around to.

It IS a three gene animal but, those are three genes that may not be all that useful. There is no such thing as a super spider or super pin and the super lesser is just going to go leucistic on you and wipe out any other phenotype. So it seems like its use would be in a very specific situation... or a very general one? Put it on 4 normals and let it pump out local pet store fodder since those 3 genes look very different from normals on their own.

If you like it enough, and are willing to pay that price then it sounds like it is worth it to you... Is it worth it commercially??? Then definitely refer to Velrys comment. On a side note, it would be worth it to me as well.

Yeah I think I'm going to pass for now. I absolutely adore him, but I don't really need another animal in my care at the moment. I definitely will be continuing my breeding as of now, but that won't be for another month which means I have more time to prepare. Thank you all for your inputs. It is highly appreciated!!

I am in the same place you are... I have room for 5 more BP's right now, unfortunately that is not one of them or I would ask where I could get it from. lol
