Ball python not eating / Temp check please
Hi all... My ambient air temps an inch from floor usually read 79f down to 75f at the cool end. The floor temps range from 90f down to 75f across the cage? Had her a month and usually eats every week but not this week, I've changed viv and the ambient a are a little lower but floor temps are same?
    thanks

Changing the tank up could be enough to throw her off.

^^^This. Also, some are just finicky anyways. My male ghost has been an awful eater than all my others, since the day I got him. He lives in the same exact conditions as all my other snakes.

Yeah I guess so, I presume the ambient air temp will be higher inside the hides also? As she spends most her time in there, although she has been out on top/down the side of her hide quite a lot lately?

So are my temps acceptable from your experience ?

Are there poop or urates hiding in her hide? It's good if she's hiding a lot, if she's out more often sometimes they'll let loose in their hides and then won't stay in it :D

Your temps seem good, and you seem to be measuring them correctly.

They are within range. I try to stay within 77-82 for my air temp.

When you change things up they will explore as its new to them. Just let it get settled back in.

Yeah doing the best I can, she is my first snake, it's easy to get obsessed by temps and environment worrying if I've got it right. She usually poops in hide yes, but she hasn't been for two weeks now, I check regular
