Display tank for living room
Hi all,
Six months back my landlord where I rented my house put the house back on the market and I had to sell all 8 of my snakes and the racks I had going and be out in a month [emoji20] well now I am in a large apartment but do not have the means to heat a room for reptiles. So I am doing one display tank for my living room with my new pied male I picked up. I don't really see many users on here with display tanks for their BP's but what brand/size do you think would be the best for temp/humidity wise and for a adult male BP? He's only 100 grams now and I am not planning to put him in there until he is around the 400 gram mark. Thanks!

If you're looking for a desplay tank, i'd suggest going with a PVC enclosure like Animal Plastics.

I bought a T8 from Animal Plastics a couple of months ago. It's housing something else right now, but the final purpose is a display type tank for one of my BP's.

Temp, and humidity are easy to maintain. The unit is incredibly easy to put together (I know this because I can actually put it together without any trouble).
The only issue with AP is their lead times. Mine was a "10 day express" item. It took me almost a month to get everything. I kind of knew the situation with AP going in from reading the forums, and I wasnt in a huge rush, so I was okay with it.
Even with the long lead, and not always accurate lead times, I will be buying more units from them in the future. I like the units, the service itself is fantastic, and if you know the lead time situation going in, you just have to plan accordingly.
