Ginger got stuck in the sofa
Ok, so I had the classic "snake in sofa" experience the other night. I got distracted and Ginny wriggled through the corner section and got inside the sofa. We all had a major freak out because of our other animals. If it was just her, I would have let her come out on her own. However, the 2 cats made it too dangerous in our minds to leave her.

We disconnected the sectional (no small feat) and turned the section where she was on its side. Then I had to cut through the bottom lining and was able to get a hold of her. She was in between 2 pieces of wood. I kept a hand on her so that I didn't lose her. Mark (my hubby) was able to get behind the wood and bring her head to the surface. She then quickly came out. Geez what an experience. Luckily, she seems fine - no cuts or other visible scratches.
