    Worms in water bowl???
I have a female ball python that I found with worms in her water when I went to feed her. She eats like there's no tomorrow and she just shed perfectly. Shes active and her tongue flickers beautifully. On the contrary I have found her soaking in her water bowl recently and now I found these. She is might free and I breed my own rats so I know where they come from as well. Any help would be appreciated.

I mean they could technically be from an outside source and completely unrelated like the rats, but I've never seen bugs in my reptiles' enclosures. Is it dead or alive in the water? My very first ball python I got from a decent reptile shop, I just happened to have him tested for parasites and he had hook worms.

They were alive until I flushed them lol Hopefully my local vet will treat snakes. I have one that is two hours away if that don't work out. I was just curious if anybody else has had this exact issue and could tell me exactly what it is.

Some vets will test a fecal sample without seeing the animal, it was only $25 per sample at my vet. They only need to see the animal if they are treating it. It may be nothing! But I'd probably have it tested for parasites if bugs like that aren't normally found in your home.
