Posting pics problem

Been trying to post a few pics of our new addition but every time I upload them it says they are too big. They are not in high def and just pics from the iPhone so I don't understand why they can't be simply uploaded?!? Anyone got any suggestions or have this same problem? How did u get them to post?

I resized mine on photobucket, i had the same problem with pics from my samsung galaxy lol

I use tapatalk for uploading pics from my iPad and haven't had any problem.
