    What could it be?
A couple months ago I hatched a clutch of 8 eggs from a sable female paired with a hypo male. The results were 2.0 Sable, 3.2 Normal and a very odd little dude. He was tiny, 32 grams and refused to eat for a month after his first shed. Now he is around 50 grams, has shed twice and is taking food on his own. His small size is not the only thing unusual about him. He is super duper dark. I took a picture of him next to a normal (center) and a sable (right) sibling. Note the close up of his head next to the sable head (the sable is pretty dark mind you). What in the? Do you think it could be another gene, a really dark sable, or?

I wish I could get on a computer to look at the pictures better but he does seem odd I would hold him back and possibly breed him back to his mother in another year and another female and see what pops up.
