Hi All! New here, as I am sure you have already figured... I just got my BP, "SAM" a month ago. I have never had a snake so I am doing alot of research on the net and like the idea of belonging to a group of fellow Herp gowers (as I have read that is what others who have snakes are called?) Havent figured out if its a boy or girl yet. Sam could be Samantha or Sampson, anyway...I don't know about that whole probing thing quite yet anyway. The previous owner just called the snake...well..."snake", they never knew if it was a boy or girl either. Sam is about 3 ft and is about 3 1/2 yrs old. I am excited about being a mom! I luv my snake, I have always wanted one. Happy to be apart of your group. Have a good day! :)

Stick around awhile, there is a wealth of information here. We also have some very good caresheets.
As for probing, give a couple of your local vets a call. It will only cost ya about $10 to get your snake probed.
