    Help!
I've been researching skin problems with bps and found an image attributed to this site that matches what is happening with my Sophia. I have had her since April and she is eating and shedding and doing well except for these patches on her head of greyed out, or offcolor scales on her head, each shed leaves another one or two. Ppl have told me its ok, but the scale above her right eye is also affected and this worries me. Cant seem to find the photo on the site, does anyone have ideas/info for me?

    Hi,

From the description it sounds as though the very top layer of some of the new scales is sticking to the old skin and getting pulled off during the shed.

Does it look a bit like the scales in the middle of the head of this picture? (ignore the eyes - they are a different and much more serious problem )

Sorry can't access photo, but from description and other photos I have seen when researching this, its what I believe is happening, does putting olive oil on her skin help this, she's awful headshy?

No I wouldn't add anything to her skin - just up the humidity a little with the next shed and see if that helps. :)
